Finnish Swimming Federation
A member federation of International Swimming Federation FINA and European Swimming Federation LEN. Member of Finnish Olympic Committee and Finnish Paralympic Committee.
Finnish Swimming Federation administers swimming, diving, artistic swimming and water polo sports in Finland. Federation was founded in 1906 and based in Helsinki. There are approximately 130 member swimming clubs around Finland.
Finnish Swimming Federation has hosted multiple international championships in Finland:
- 1992 LEN European Sprint Championships, Espoo FIN
- 2000 LEN European Championships, Helsinki FIN
- 2006 LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships, Helsinki FIN
- 2010 LEN European Junior Championships, Helsinki/Tampere FIN (SW, DI, SY)
- 2014 FINA World Junior Synchronized Swimming Championships, Helsinki FIN
- 2018 LEN European Junior Championships, Helsinki/Tampere FIN (SW, DI, SY)
